About the Role The Learning & Outreach Manager (STEAM) works closely with the Head of Learning Experiences and Deputy Head, Learning Programs to develop and deliver an engaging, exciting and future-focused STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and maths) learning and outreach program onsite at Science Gallery Melbourne, other Museums & Collections venues, in schools and online through digital programming.

Who we are looking for The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and delivering engaging STEAM programs for secondary students. They will possess strong networking skills and experience in managing key stakeholder relationships. They should be adept at project management, from planning and coordinating to evaluation, and have a creative approach to developing interdisciplinary learning experiences. A passion for STEM and the arts, combined with a focus on audience engagement in museum and gallery settings, is essential. Additionally, they should have experience managing teams effectively.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to- date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University.
