The University of Bedfordshire Business School is at the forefront of expanding opportunity and access in higher education. Following significant growth, we are currently developing an ambitious programme of strategic change in the faculty and require colleagues to join our School of Leadership & Management.
As such, we are now seeking to recruit an academic Lecturer(s) or Senior Lecturer(s) in Management to join this highly successful and rapidly growing area of our business. Within the Business School, you will be joining a team responsible for delivering a range of management modules at undergraduate level and within our apprenticeship portfolio. We welcome individuals with experience in delivering modules related to management, leadership, data/business analytics and general business topics.
You will be supporting the team that delivers courses to our own campuses as well as to our TNE partners. The post-holder will also be part of the team who are responsible for the development of exciting new courses for our school and faculty. You will be able to work to tight deadlines working independently with minimum supervision and liaising closely with senior colleagues from our partners and key stakeholders. You will develop relationships with industry and use these to support curriculum development and enhance the student experience.
Appointment at Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level is dependent on academic profile and professional experience, as described in the job descriptions. For the Senior Lecturer role at Grade 8, a PhD or equivalent professional experience in a relevant subject area is required. Within this there is also a requirement for course management and curriculum design experience.
