The range of departments highlights the range of courses on offer within the school and we are proud to work collaboratively with our NHS partners to look at new ways of working. Due to this the school is one of the leading organisations for developing courses that lead to new roles in healthcare. The school is growing currently and will expand with the development of Occupational Therapy, Advanced Clinical Practice and Physicians Associate as well as bespoke CPD courses. We are currently recruiting for our undergraduate Physiotherapy course.

About the Job
Join our innovative team to inspire the Occupational Therapists of the future. We have many exciting developments in our new and expanding programme that includes both apprenticeship and undergraduate programmes and we need Occupational Therapists with a passion for student education and the profession to join us in delivering these programmes. Due to our programme development and expansion, we are seeking to employ a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy to help us achieve our ambitious plans. Part- time would also be considered.
You will teach within a department delivering Occupational Therapy and other health related programmes.
About You
You will have a degree in Physiotherapy and be a member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). You will have expert knowledge of cardiovascular respiratory physiotherapy and experience and understanding of the physiotherapy placement model. In addition, you will have experience of mentoring/supervising students either academically or clinically.
We are looking to appoint a HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with a broad range of practice and community experience, able to teach in many areas across the curriculum.
You must be a member of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) or have capacity to obtain membership within 12 months of appointment.
This appointment will involve practical and theoretical teaching across the undergraduate and apprenticeship occupational therapy degree programmes. You will be expected to support further developments within the department, both in a profession specific and multi-disciplinary context.
