Macquarie University is recruiting for two new Manager, Experiential Education to effectively lead the design and delivery of programs across course, unit and co-curricular levels for assigned Faculties at the University. These Faculties include Faculty of Arts (FoA), Macquarie Business School (MQBS), Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE) and Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences (FMHHS).
Reporting to the Director of Graduate Futures, this position focuses on a comprehensive suite of programs such as career development learning, global education and exchange, leadership education, lifelong learning, and work- integrated learning. The Manager operates with a high level of autonomy, driving forward initiatives that align with the strategic priorities of each Faculty's Deputy Dean for Education and Employability.
Additionally, the Manager is responsible for the effective management and capability development of a shared pool of staff, ensuring on-time and within- budget delivery of programs in collaboration with Faculty counterparts. The role also involves spearheading global engagement and forming strategic partnerships to enhance Graduate Futures, utilising data-driven insights to ensure these initiatives support the University's strategic goals.

A relevant postgraduate qualification.
Extensive experience in managing in-curriculum experiential education programs both within a Faculty and at a University level, combined with strong understanding of the higher education context and evolving policy environment.
Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership and vision, including cultivating and modelling a positive workplace culture, high-performance mindset, fostering team collaboration, and inspiring others to achieve organisational goals.
Extensive experience in building and managing relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including industry partners, government agencies, educational institutions, and community organisations.
Proficiency in developing and implementing course curriculum, and managing the satisfaction of curriculum requirements through third-party educational activities, such as work-integrated learning, global education and exchange, and/or lifelong learning.
Exceptional competency in navigating complex legal and regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements relevant to higher education and employability initiatives, including ensuring implementation of, and performance against, policy and regulatory requirements.
Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis and performance evaluation to assess the effectiveness and impact of educational programs.
