About the Role Lead the development and delivery of equity outreach programs aimed at inspiring students from low socioeconomic, regional, rural, and remote communities to consider higher education at the University of Melbourne. You will design and implement workshops and campus immersion experiences that align with secondary school curricula, providing meaningful opportunities for students traditionally underrepresented in tertiary education. You will cultivate strategic partnerships with schools, manage stakeholder relationships, and oversee the recruitment and training of student peer mentors. With scope to innovate and shape best practices, you will ensure effective operations while contributing to the key strategic goal of widening participation and empowering students to achieve their full potential.
Your responsibilities will include:
Who We Are Looking For. You will be a highly independent and self-motivated individual who is able to prioritise workloads and plan ahead effectively. With a strong understanding of both higher and secondary education, you will possess the critical thinking skills necessary to design programs and solutions that support student development and aspirations for higher education. Your professional knowledge will be complemented by your strong curriculum and learning design skills, as well as effective presentation abilities. Experience in planning, developing, and delivering education programs for secondary school audiences, coupled with a solid understanding of Victorian and national secondary school curricula is essential. Additionally, you will have a proven ability to identify, develop, and maintain relationships with a wide range of partners.

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check.
