Oxford Population Health (Nuffield Department of Population Health) contains world-renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching.
We are seeking a highly motivated medical statistician to join an established multi-disciplinary team, led by Professor Jemma Hopewell. The group focuses on research into cardiovascular precision medicine by capitalising on large-scale data to identify the causes, consequences and treatments for coronary disease, stroke and arrhythmias. The post holder will work on cutting-edge population health research using large-scale -omics and multi-modal data from randomized and observational studies. This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your statistical and -omics expertise and contribute to high impact cardiovascular research
To be considered, you will hold a postgraduate qualification in statistics/mathematics/data science or closely related highly quantitative subject. You will have an excellent understanding of medical statistics, practical experience analysing big data as well as demonstrated programming skills.
The position is full time (part time considered) and fixed term until 30 September 2025. The closing date for applications is noon on 19 September 2024.
