Nurse (holding the functional title of Research Nurse) in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 527405) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing Studies or equivalent, and be registered with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong. They should have a good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin; and good interpersonal and organisational skills. They should also be responsible, mature, attentive to details, motivated, able to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team, and willing to learn new skills and multi-task. Experience in analysis of longitudinal data using R is highly preferred.
The appointee will assist in multi-centre studies on orthopaedic conditions including infection, hip pathologies, skeletal dysplasias, and fractures. He/She will be responsible for participant recruitment; instrument and intervention delivery; statistical analyses; generating tables and figures; drafting applications, publications and reports; data curation, and other administrative duties as assigned. On-the-job training related to research methods will be provided. Irregular working hours may be required.
