Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, Woodstock Road, Oxford

Are you an experienced Personal Assistant who is looking for a new challenge? This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced part-time Personal Assistant to support the 'Director of Undergraduate Primary Care Studies' and 'Workforce and Learning Research Group Lead'.

You will provide comprehensive, high quality, office administration and executive support to Professor Sophie Park. No previous background in research or health is necessary.

This is a responsible, demanding and pivotal position where you will be responsible for scheduling and calendar management for Professor Sophie Park, prepare paperwork for meetings, source venues and co-ordinate travel arrangements to ensure the day-to-day organisation of business runs smoothly. You will work closely with colleagues within the department and across the university to ensure coordination on relevant issues, some of which may be of a sensitive, highly confidential and/or urgent nature.

You will be educated to A level or equivalent and must have significant experience as a Personal Assistant as well as experience of working with senior members of staff. Highly proficient IT skills, communication skills and interpersonal skills are essential, as are excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines. You should also be self-motivated, resilient, with a proactive approach, and commitment to high standards.

You will be based in the Gibson Building Ground Floor, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG.

This is a part-time and permanent position. We would preferably like the post holder to work Tuesdays as this aligns with the Undergraduate Teaching Group's core teaching days and you will be able to agree other working arrangements with your line manager.

For further information or discuss the post please contact Emma Wiley ([email protected]).

The Department is committed to the continuing professional development of its professional services staff and in-house and on-the-job training will be provided as appropriate.

“Committed to equality and valuing diversity”
