Position Summary

Applications are invited for the role of Post-Doctoral Researcher: Pharmaceutical Development within the School of Pharmacy.

We are currently recruiting a Post-Doctoral Researcher scientist to join our research team to conduct thorough experimental investigations into the characterisation of polymeric hydrogel beads. The candidate will work closely with an industrial partner to conduct a specified programme of research. The project seeks to develop innovative experimental protocols to analyse the bead chemical and physical properties. The qualified individual will be responsible for the design, execution, management of scientific studies, and reporting updates to the industrial partner.

The candidate will be based in the School of Pharmacy, UCC and will be working in the lab group led by Prof Abina Crean. Overall, this position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative polymeric hydrogel products for application in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.

Post Duration: 2 Months

Salary: €44,347 - €50,805 per annum, IUA PD1 Scale
