Postdoctoral Researcher - Centre for Health Research Methodology, 1 FTE, School of Nursing and Midwifery, 010704

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a full-time fixed-term position (12 months, less than 1.0 FTE can be considered for the ideal candidate) as a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Centre for Health Research Methodology at the University of Galway, Ireland.

This position is funded by the EU HORIZON programme and is available from 6th Jan 2025 to 31st December 2025.

Located within the College of Medicine, Nursing, and Health Sciences, the Centre for Health Research Methodology (CHRM) is renowned for its dynamism, innovation, and contributions to health research. With a keen focus on improving the design, conduct, reporting, and application of research, the CHRM has positioned itself as a global leader in its domain.

In addition to hosting the HRB-TMRN, ESI, and Cochrane Ireland, the Centre strongly focuses on a central pillar of an Informed Public. We believe an informed public is key for healthcare advancement and aim to demystify healthcare research through public engagement initiatives. Similarly, we strive to bridge the gap between research and practice, ensuring access to clear and accurate health information for well-informed health choices.

Salary: Postdoctoral Researcher salary scale €44,846 - €57,332 per annum (subject to the project's funding limitations), and pro rata for shorter and/or part-time contracts.

Employment permit restrictions will apply for this category of post at less than 1 FTE.
