Position descriptionThe purpose of the position is to provide an early opportunity to develop as a researcher and to create the conditions for further acquisitions of qualifications after completing the doctoral degree independently and in collaboration with others.
The appointed postdoctoral fellow will primarily conduct research in environmental and energy economics in collaboration with the economics research group and other colleagues at the school. This research may build on work carried out in the applicant's doctoral dissertation.
Additionally, the postdoctoral fellow will contribute to teaching in economics courses as a complementary resource. Teaching responsibilities will not exceed 20% of the full-time position.
Qualifications requirementsThe applicant is required to have a PhD degree in Economics.
The applicant must have completed the degree no more than three years before the end of the application period. You have not previously held a position as a postdoctoral researcher in the same or related subject area at MDU that exceeds one year.
