The Accounting Section is now seeking a PostDoc with expertise in logistics, sustainable financing, circular economy, and management accounting. The section's research covers a wide range of topics, including the design and use of management accounting and control systems (MACS) for both operational and strategic purposes. It explores the role of MACS in complex inter- organizational relationships, management accounting practices for sustainability, and the impact of digitalization on MACS. The research within the section has a strong international focus, with faculty members engaged in collaborations with researchers from various international universities and business schools. The research has been published in several esteemed international research journals, including Accounting, Organizations and Society; Management Accounting Research; the British Accounting Review; Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal; and Accounting and Business Research. The section offers a wide range of courses at various educational levels, including undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. programs.
DutiesWe are looking for a recently graduated, motivated, and skilled researcher to join our team, focusing on examining critical aspects of electromobility, financing, and circular economy. You will play a key role in ongoing research projects focused on financing the transformation of the transportation system. The project aims to expand previous research to include the network of actors within the battery electric vehicle ecosystem and to explore alternative financing avenues and how different forms of financing could be distributed within the network. Teaching about 20% in accounting or a related field is included. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong research background and a keen interest in the intersection of accounting, finance, transport, and sustainability.
