Job Description

Key Duties:

  • Independent solving of complex scientific, research or development tasks in research on the effects of exposure and risks of foreign substances
  • Coordination and realization of research projects that integrate complex data – environmental, analytical, toxicological
  • Securing research funding - searching for grant or contract research opportunities, writing, and submitting research grant proposals, contractual project collaboration, implementation of contract research projects
  • Managing process optimization/innovation, development, optimization and validation of analytical techniques for new types of analytes and their mixtures, quality control of LC-MSMS analyses for the Environmental Toxicology program
  • Active publishing activity (peer-review journals)
  • Contribution to student education, namely by supervision of bachelor, master and PhD theses
  • Skills and Qualifications

  • A Ph.D. degree in the field of Chemistry, Toxicology, Biology, Biochemistry, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in a relevant field/in a similar position
  • At least B2 English level
  • Experience in leading bachelor's and master's theses
  • The hands-on experience in the research activities and publication of research results
