  • We are seeking multiple Process Analysts to contribute to one of the largest changes to higher education in Australia over the past 30 years and help shape the new Adelaide University.

    About the role

    As the Process Analyst you will be responsible for conducting thorough analysis of business processes and systems to optimise operations and ensure compliance within the new Adelaide University. Working as part of the Student Experience and Administration Domain (SE&A) which will support the integration and transformation to establish the new university, the position will collaborate with cross-functional teams both within The University of South Australia and The University of Adelaide to identify requirements and propose data-driven solutions aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

    You will be involved in the transition of staff and students, a significant project in the IMO. You will support the work of the SME Leads and Project Managers within the Student Experience & Administration domain and related areas. This will include analysing processes and systems, identify requirements and propose data-driven solutions aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness of large-scale student transition, systems and processes.

    Core Responsibilities

  • Data analysis: Monitor and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency. Identify and provide advice on data integrity issues across the range of system functions including developing detailed audit plans and programs to enable ongoing identification of issues.
  • Process engineering: Develop and streamline student systems and processes. Critically examining existing operations to identify efficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Systems testing: Ensure software and interface releases and upgrades are tested and implemented efficiently and changes clearly communicated to end users.
  • Communication: Liaise, discuss and negotiate effectively with staff across both university's and other relevant stakeholders in regard to student system developments and overall process improvements.
  • End-user support: Undertake business process and training needs analysis, develop and review business process and training materials, deliver end-user training and provide end-user support.
  • Essential Skills and Experience

  • High level of organisational and administrative skills, preferably with experience in project management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex information systems using a high degree of computer literacy and the ability to troubleshoot system related problems
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to be innovative and creative in providing advice and generating solutions
  • Interpersonal and negotiation skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills, including experience in developing and providing training
