About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Procurement team to deliver the role of Procurement Stock Coordinator for a fixed term through to 4th June 2025.

The role supports the procurement operation of the University's campus services department which provides a range of services to students and the campus in general including, hospitality, accommodation, conferencing and events, and security. This role will focus on tasks including supplier management, resolving day-to-day supplier issues with logistics; data administration, managing product information and reporting for goods purchased by the department; contract support to the Procurement Category Manager ensuring value for money is delivered through good procurement practice; and generally providing a high level of customer service to the various stakeholders you will work with.

The ideal candidate will have a good level of IT literacy with particular experience of using Microsoft Excel and Purchase to Pay systems. They will be highly organised with an analytical approach to their work, and will have previous experience of working within a procurement environment.

The role offers you the flexibility to operate hybrid working arrangements. An office base is available on the University's main campus benefitting from being closer to the stakeholder operation. You can also work remotely with the flexibility to determine your optimum balance of work locations across the week.
