Programme Coordinator

Department of Politics and International Relations (DPIR), Manor Road Building, Manor Road, Oxford, OX1 3UQ

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Programme Coordinator to join one of the largest politics and international relations departments in the world. DPIR is a stimulating work environment, where our influential research plays a key role in tackling some of the central issues of today and of the future, examining how everyday governments and political systems impact our lives, shaping political economy, culture, conflict, legal rights and more on a global, national and local level.

The Programme Coordinator will join a dynamic and growing team – Programme for Global Leadership – committed to shaping the next generation of wise thinkers and good leaders. The programme builds on the work of the Oxford Character Project, which has been driving interdisciplinary research and delivering award-winning educational programmes in Oxford since 2014. As Programme Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in organising world-class character and leadership development programmes at the University and in partnership with other organisations. Working closely with the Programme Manager and external partners, you will be at the heart of coordinating initiatives that engage with renowned leaders and help young students become the leaders they want to be.

This position is full-time and fixed-term for 12 months.

About you
