Casual Project Assistant – Student Representative Committee Location: Macquarie University, North Ryde Campus Classification: HEW Level 3 (3 positions available) Employment Type: Casual Are you passionate about supporting student representation and engagement? The Macquarie University Student Representative Committee (SRC) is seeking a Casual Project Assistant to help deliver initiatives and projects that elevate the SRC's profile and impact on campus. Purpose The successful candidate will provide essential project administration and support for initiatives approved by the SRC, contributing to the delivery of events, social media strategies, and key engagement activities. Key Accountabilities • Provide project administration support for SRC initiatives. • Support student and stakeholder engagement, planning, and communications as directed. • Assist with project methodology and delivery, ensuring accurate record- keeping. • Track project activities, milestones, and deliverables, and prepare reports as needed. • Maintain the risk register for SRC projects and initiatives. • Contribute to the preparation of project documentation. • Assist with the delivery of events such as Kickstart and other SRC-approved activities. • Comply with EEO and WHS regulations. • Perform other duties as required within the scope of this role. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience • Held an executive or volunteer position in a Student Club, Grapeshot, Society, or a peer leadership program (current SRC members are ineligible). • Experience in customer service or administrative roles. • Demonstrated ability to complete project administration tasks. • Familiarity with business systems and databases, with experience running reports. • Strong ability to build and manage partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
