Project Manager (at the rank of Administrative Assistant ll/Executive Officer) in the Department of Psychiatry, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 528920) (to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal).
The appointee will participate in a 4.5-year large-scale multidisciplinary research and community youth mental health project. It is Hong Kong's first territory-wide initiative to build a youth-specific and youth-friendly mental health platform that provides timely preventive intervention to youth with distress and risk for mental health deterioration. The project will transform current youth services and provide a framework for future developments in youth mental health and youth-focused services both locally and internationally.
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor's degree or above in public health, psychology, nursing, social work, occupational therapy, clinical psychology, or related disciplines, with at least 3 years' experience in project management. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, the ability to work independently and in a team, strong leadership and management skills, and good coordination, communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in managing large-scale community research projects would be highly desirable. The appointee will assist the Project Director in implementing and overseeing the project. He/She will manage personnel matters, track project performance, and perform other duties as assigned. Those who have responded to the previous advertisement (Ref.: 527126) need not re-apply.
