Are you ready to shape the future of healthcare services in an innovative, community-focused environment? La Trobe University is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead the development of a cutting-edge Primary Health GP Clinic. This 14-month full-time, fixed-term position HEO9 $130,252 – 137,990 p.a - will be based on our stunning Melbourne (Bundoora) campus.

What You'll Do:

As the driving force behind this exciting project, you'll be at the heart of a mission to provide outstanding health and wellness services to students, staff, and the wider community. You'll take the lead on:

  • Develop a state-of-the-art, integrated health service model that blends general practice with wellness programs and health promotion, fostering a culture of care across campus.
  • Partner with the Pro Vice Chancellor (Health Innovation) and other senior leaders to ensure the clinic aligns with La Trobe's values of health and community engagement.
  • Shape the future of healthcare by ensuring student-led clinic services will support both academic programs and real-world health outcomes.
  • Build robust policies, governance frameworks, and service standards that set a new benchmark for quality and accountability in campus-based health services.
  • Oversee the selection of a top-tier healthcare provider to bring this vision to life by mid-2025.
  • What You'll Bring:

  • You have a proven track record in managing or consulting to health services, especially in general practice or primary healthcare.
  • Your innovative solutions and ability to think critically will drive the development of policies and frameworks that ensure top-tier healthcare delivery.
  • Your ability to communicate, negotiate, and build relationships with diverse stakeholders will be key to the success of this project.
  • You've got experience in strategic financial planning and governance, ensuring efficient and sustainable operations.
