  • We are seeking proactive and experienced Project Managers to deliver change projects at Kingston University. In this impactful role, you will drive the success of the University's Town House Strategy and strategic objectives by delivering a portfolio of projects through its entire lifecycle, ensuring each meets its scope, time, quality, benefits realisation and budget goals.

    You will contribute to a cohesive project management methodology, building on best practices across the University. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll build trust, foster collaboration, and ensure transparency, all while promoting an inclusive, engaged environment.

    This role provides a unique opportunity to help deliver the future of Kingston University by delivering high-impact initiatives with measurable results.

    The Person

    To succeed in this role, you should have:

    - A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

    - Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) or equivalent and an understanding of project management methodologies including Agile, Scrum and Waterfall.

    - Experience of managing projects at an enterprise-wide level.

    - Project team leadership in terms where resources are not direct reports e.g. business/academic managers, IT, business analysts and other subject matter experts.

    - Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments, flexing approaches to handle unexpected challenges.

    - Ability to plan for and manage risks in complex projects; and take swift, appropriate and decisive action to address issues.

    - Ability to display resilience and calmness under pressure.

    - Ability to think strategically and align project goals with organisational objectives.

    - Results driven.

    Directorate/Function

    Working within a newly created Strategic Portfolio Office (SPO), the office also sits within a newly established Strategy, Performance and Communications Directorate. As well as the SPO, this Directorate includes staff working in Planning and Performance, and Brand, Communications and Public Affairs.

    There are two full-time, permanent positions with a starting salary of £44,154.00 per annum.
