  • About the Role The Recruitment Manager in the Science Divisional Group leads student recruitment and conversion activities to meet graduate student load targets. Working closely with the Associate Director, Future Students, and various teams, the role develops and monitors an integrated recruitment and admissions plan, ensuring prospective students receive accurate and responsive advice. The Recruitment Manager also oversees a team of recruitment specialists, promoting service excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

    Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate closely with the Associate Director, Future Students and Future Students Hub teams on the development of an integrated recruitment and admissions plan for each Division and undertake ongoing review and monitoring against plan.
  • Design and deliver graduate recruitment activities aligned to the Divisional Group's strategic recruitment targets
  • Contribute to undergraduate activities, especially large University wide recruitment events, as required.
  • Work with Associate Director, Future Students to ensure access to, and use of, timely market intelligence and data required for the effective management of recruitment and selection for the Division. Provide information and advice gained through in-depth market, discipline and cohort engagement into the broader university graduate market planning process.
  • Who we are looking for The ideal candidate excels in verbal and written communication, has strong presentation and leadership skills, and is goal-oriented with excellent organisational abilities

    You will also have:

  • A relevant postgraduate qualification with management experience relating to student recruitment, or an equivalent combination of relevant training, education and/or experience
  • Demonstrated leadership and experience in developing and delivering student acquisition plans, aligning organisational strategies and balancing resourcing demands, preferably within a complex environment.
  • Previous experience with undertaking student recruitment and/or selection within a tertiary education context.
  • Demonstrated commitment and experience in providing a high level of service delivery to students and Divisions alike.

    This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to- date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
