About the Position

Bond University’s Student Success and Wellbeing team is dedicated to supporting the health and wellness of our students and staff while fostering a safe campus environment. Our Medical Clinic is currently seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for up to 12 months to cover Parental Leave.

Reporting to the Head of Service - Student Counselling, Health & Well-being, this role involves a dynamic range of clinical duties, including pathology collection, vaccinations, wound care, equipment sterilisation, ordering supplies, and conducting health assessments. The role also responds to emergency first aid requests and provides health counselling, supporting students with health information and resources to encourage healthy lifestyle choices.

About the person

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a Registered Nurse with at least two years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a General Practice setting
  • Be able to respond appropriately to emergency and clinical incidents
  • Have phlebotomy experience or be willing to complete a phlebotomy course
  • Demonstrate proficiency with medical practice software
  • Have a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and support
  • Be able work both independently and collaboratively within a team

Experience working within a tertiary education environment or within General Practice will be an advantage.

Salary details

The salary for the position commences at $ 93,419.65 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
