Work Arrangements
This faculty position will be available starting in the Fall 2024 semester. The candidate may be required to teach days, evenings, and/or Saturdays, at our New Westminster and Coquitlam campuses.

The Role
The Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration is seeking a regular probationary faculty member to teach in the Business Management Department.
Responsibilities
Ideally the successful candidate will have significant post-secondary teaching experience as well as significant demonstrated managerial experience. The successful candidate must be fully prepared to teach the following courses:
- BUSN 4275 (Business Strategy & Competitive Analysis) - BUSN 3310 (Organizational Management Skills) - BUSN 1210 (Management Essentials)
The successful candidate will instruct students, facilitate learning and evaluate student progress. You will plan, organize and teach learning activities. You will ensure students receive the knowledge, information and resources to succeed by maintaining a quality, learner-centered approach to post-secondary education.
To Be Successful in this Role You Will Need
To possess a PhD, have ABD status, MBA or relevant Master degree in the discipline or related field from a recognized institution. Have a combination of three years of work and teaching experience directly related to the assigned teaching responsibility, with a minimum of two years work experience, in a related area.
To demonstrate an excellent ability to teach upper level courses at the post- secondary level with preference given to candidates with previous successful teaching experience.
To work cooperatively with colleagues in a team environment.
- To demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
- To possess working knowledge of computer applications and educational technologies.
