  • Starting salary: $80,099 pro rata per annum (plus 17% superannuation)
  • About the Role

    As the Research Assistant, you will support the WAVES Program Evaluation Project. The WAVES Program, incorporating the Invictus Pathways Program, serves to support the physical and psychological wellbeing of Veterans, First Responders, and their families. This position will provide research support for the ongoing evaluation of the WAVES Program and its associated activities.

    Core Responsibilities

  • Support the ongoing evaluation and refinement of the WAVES Program
  • Contribute to high quality collaborative research and industry publications
  • Support the successful co-design and implementation of best-practice, evidence-based resources, workshops and other program activities.
  • Maintain program documentation, including ethics documentation and grant applications
  • Contribute to reports to key external and internal stakeholders, including funding bodies
  • Essential Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor and Postgraduate qualification in a health-related discipline
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in data management and statistical analysis
  • Experience working with/undertaking health related research and publishing
  • Experience writing grant applications
  • Experience completing and submitting DDVA HREC ethics documentation
