Duties and Responsibilities

  • The successful applicant will work in the Jockey Club “Peace and Awareness” Mindfulness Culture in Schools Initiative under the Faculty of Social Sciences. The project aims at studying and promoting mindfulness culture in Hong Kong schools. He or she will be responsible for the smooth operation of the project with major tasks including:

  • implementing research and programme evaluation
  • collecting and analysing data
  • coordinating a team of research interns
  • organising public education events
  • performing relevant administrative tasks
  • any other duties as assigned
  • Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree or above in Psychology, Social Sciences or a related discipline
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese & Putonghua)
  • Good research skills in Psychology or Social Sciences
  • Proficient in SPSS, MS Excel and Chinese typing
  • Experience in implementation of community/education projects will be an advantage

    The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary term basis until August 31, 2025.
