Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant II/Research Assistant I/Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Psychology (Ref.: 528902) to commence on Oct 14, 2024 or as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree or above in Psychology, or a related discipline. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese); strong communication skills; basic knowledge in using statistical software such as SPSS and R; be self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently and as a team. Those with experience in working with children/adolescents; and/or developing mobile applications are preferred. Applicants who apply for Research Assistant I/Senior Research Assistant should have the experience of monitoring a research project independently and supervising junior research staff. Applicants who are appointed as Senior Research Assistant should have a Bachelor's degree plus 3 years' experience; or a Master's degree plus 1 year's post-qualification experience; or a Ph.D. degree.
The appointee will work on various projects related to digital educational interventions. He/she will be responsible for literature review, preparation of assessment and intervention materials, liaise with external parties, coordination of data collection and intervention activities, conduct assessment with children, supervision of research interns, data processing, and other research-related duties as assigned.
