Research Assistant Professor (RAP) Position in Hongjie Dai's lab (Ref. 528613)

Professor Hongjie Dai (Professor, Chair of Chemistry; and Jackson-Wood Professor of Chemistry, Emeritus at Stanford University) has a Research Assistant Professor (RAP) position opening for candidates working in the broad areas of chemistry and materials for renewable energy, bioengineering and nanomedicine. The group's research programs will be highly interdisciplinary and collaborative with other groups in the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Medicine at HKU as well as leading groups in the Greater Bay Area.

The candidate is expected to lead a research subgroup to carry out frontier research, write grant proposals and publications, supervise students and coordinate group activities and participate in technology translation or commercialization efforts. Candidates with a Ph.D. degree and strong background in chemistry, applied physics, materials science/chemical engineering/ bioengineering and medicine are encouraged to apply.
