The MRC Toxicology Unit offers excellent research infrastructure and support for personal development. The candidate is required to work in a close collaboration with geneticists and microbiologists in the lab.

Candidates should have a PhD in a relevant discipline such as bioengineering and hands-on experience with culturing gut bacteria. A good publication record in peer-reviewed journals is required.
