This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and motivated administrator with an interest in research to support our Research Centres in the Faculty of Engineering & Design.

About the role

This is a varied and dynamic role in a small, highly-motivated team. You will work closely with the Research Centre leadership teams, other Faculty-based colleagues and Central University Services. You will provide administrative support for the Faculty's Centre Directors and Deputies, coordinate events and support meetings.

This post is offered on a part-time time basis of 0.8 FTE (29.2 hours per week).

We are currently operating a hybrid work model, which is a combination of both campus and home working. This post would have a minimum of 2 days on campus per week.

  • have strong IT skills, particularly in Office 365 and confidence to learn new systems quickly,
  • demonstrate a good use of initiative and creativity in a rapidly changing environment.
