  • The Opportunity

    Join the Jackson Research Group as Research Fellow and be a key contributor focusing on research in sleep interventions, cognition, and wellbeing. As part of a dynamic team, you will drive an innovative research program aimed at addressing sleep issues in middle-aged and older adults. This role offers the opportunity to lead research projects, conduct independent investigations and produce significant outputs to make an impact on the community. This position is an exciting opportunity to join our team for an initial 12-month term, with a potential extension.

    In this position, you will engage in advanced experimental design and operation of technical laboratory equipment, as well as conduct sophisticated research procedures. Your work will involve both independent projects and collaborative efforts, contributing to the creation of impactful research papers and seminar presentations. The role requires a deep commitment to research excellence and the ability to analyse complex data sets, write up findings and share results with the scientific community.

    We are seeking someone with a doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline or near completion towards such qualification. The role also demands excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience in preparing and presenting research aims and outcomes. A track record of refereed research publications, experience with cognitive assessments and a background in sleep or neuropsychology is also desirable.
