Position Summary
Applications are invited for the role of Research Fellow within the School of Public Health.
PPI Ignite Network@ UCC is now seeking a dynamic candidate for the position of Research Fellow to ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of PPI Ignite Network@ UCC, to manage and ensure full implementation of its programme of PPI work and lead the development and implementation of network sustainability at a local and national level.
The Research Fellow will support PPI Ignite Network@ UCC co-leads to achieve the agreed strategic and administrative goals of the unit and will serve as the primary interface between the unit and the University, external partners and stakeholders and network members. S/He will be required to lead the development and delivery of research led PPI educational offerings across the University including accredited and non-accredited modules and courses, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate research supervision. S/He will be expected to lead PPI innovation across the University and amongst a variety of partner organisations.
S/He may be asked to support other aspects of work when relevant and the appointee will be expected to have a flexible approach in this regard. The ideal candidate will be proactive, enthusiastic, very organised, and capable of managing a diverse workload. S/He will be able to work under pressure and be able to effectively manage many competing demands simultaneously.

Post Duration: 17 Months
Salary: €63,325 - €69,002 per annum, (IUA Research Fellow scale)
