Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the School of Biological Sciences (Ref.: 528919) (on a two-year fixed- term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance).
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree with at least 3-4 years' relevant work experience in Accounting or Finance. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good organisational, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills; and an appropriate level of IT skills. Applicants should also be a good team player with self- motivation and a strong sense of responsibility; and be able to prioritise multiple tasks independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Those with work experience in tertiary institutions and knowledge of using Oracle Financials system would have an advantage. Applicants with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Assistant.
The appointee will provide administrative support in personnel and financial matters, including processing of payments and reimbursements, tendering and procurement and budgetary control matters, as well as other ad hoc and non- routine tasks. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
