The School of Computing and Data Science (CDS) at the University of Hong Kong (cds.hku.hk) is a newly established interdisciplinary School on 1 July, 2024, formed by combining the Department of Computer Science from the Faculty of Engineering and the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science from the Faculty of Science. CDS aims to integrate and enhance education programmes in HKU related to computing and data science, artificial intelligence, statistical decision sciences, fintech, and actuarial science. We are currently inviting applications for three Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to join the School. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about teaching, knowledge exchange, and curriculum development. What We Offer
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
