    CQUniversity's School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Sciences is seeking a highly motivated academic to join our team as a Senior Lecturer – PG Social Work. In this role, you will contribute significantly to advancing research, education, and sector development in alignment with CQUniversity's strategic priorities and Queensland Government gendered violence reform initiatives.

    As a key member of the academic team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our student community. Your primary objective will be to lead and engage in the delivery of foundational and profession-focused units, facilitating tutorials, practical classes, and supervising research projects to provide exceptional education and support to our diverse student body.   • Possession of doctoral qualification (PhD) in the relevant discipline is a requirement of this role.
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching / Education.
  • Willingness to obtain, if required, a qualification in adult education in order to meet the minimum requirements of a Registered Training Organisation as outlined in the relevant government Standards e.g. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education (e.g. Bachelor or Graduate Certificate in Tertiary and Adult Education)
