Senior Marketing Officer (Marketing and Admissions for Masters Programmes) (at the rank of Clerk I) (several posts) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 527355) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
To cope with its strategic development and expansion, the Faculty of Business and Economics (HKU Business School) is now seeking high caliber candidates to support admissions for its specialized Masters programmes.
Applicants should have a recognized degree with at least 4 years' work experience; a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese); a strong sense of responsibility and urgency; the ability to work independently; detail-oriented personality; effective organizational and communication skills; and IT proficiency. Knowledge of graphic design software (e.g. Photoshop) and video production would be advantageous.
The appointees will be responsible for assisting different marketing and admissions functional areas with diversified duties such as marketing content development for social media channels; digital campaign execution; advertising and marketing collateral preparation; website updates, and database management. They will be required to support a wide range of admissions and outreach events for Masters programmes. Working outside normal office hours/during weekends is also occasionally required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
