About the position

La Trobe University is seeking two highly skilled and motivated Senior Officers, Strategy and Planning to join our dynamic team within the Office of the Provost. These pivotal roles support effective planning, decision-making, and continuous improvement activities across the Office of the Provost and Schools. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing datasets, analysis, and reporting to inform decision-making processes, as well as coordinating Senior University Governance and Joint Discipline Committees.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have

  • Analytical and Technical Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and the ability to analyse and interpret data to provide valuable insights.
  • Strong Communication and Organisational Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, along with the ability to coordinate administrative and operational committees and functions effectively.
  • Problem-Solving and Innovation: The capacity to generate original ideas, offer innovative solutions, and address complex issues.
  • Customer Service and Team Collaboration: A focus on providing excellent service and support, and the ability to work collaboratively with different departments to achieve project goals.
