Senior Operations Assistant - West Hub (Internal Applicants only)

The Role:

The Senior Operations Assistant role is key in delivering the smooth running of the daily opening of the West Hub in the afternoon and evening hours. Working as part of the West Hub Operational team you will be part of a team that deliver exceptional customer service and building management to the users of the West Hub.

Working with the Operations Supervisor you will manage the workload of the evening Operations Assistants', ensuring smooth operational delivery from evening to morning.

Duties will include providing operational delivery of event set-ups on site, providing feedback from users and flagging operational challenges.

Providing detailed end of day reports of West Hub activities and ensuring compliance tasks are undertaken as well as advocate for pro-active tasks to enable a holistic delivery across the operational team .

The role holder will ensure health and safety compliance and be the main point of contact during the afternoon and evening for third party commercial arms, on- site contractors and maintenance teams undertaking planned preventative maintenance works.

The Senior Operational Assistant will be the on-point staff member in lui of the Operations Supervisor for the standard operating procedures and when required emergency operating procedures; liasing with University security and emergency services as needed and notifying key contacts as required.

The Senior Operations Assistant is expected to role model exceptional customer service and champion an open and inclusive culture of the West Hub.

Previous experience from a similar role in a multi-use venue, either commercial or education preferably within a building that has public access. You will be a strong team player with a proactive attitude always looking to deliver the best customer service for users of the building.
