  • About This Opportunity

    We are seeking a Senior Research Assistant to join our team for the Vascular Dementia Prevention and Care among Stroke Survivors in the Asia Pacific Region project. This role focuses on conducting quantitative data analysis and supporting evidence synthesis. As a Senior Research Assistant, you will provide technical research support and subject matter expertise throughout all stages of the research life cycle, contributing to the successful delivery of project outputs..

    Key responsibilities will include: (Maximum 3-4 points)

  • Coordinate day-to-day implementation of the project, including advanced research tasks like quantitative data analysis and systematic reviews.

  • Assist in the design of research studies and the preparation of manuscripts and other research outputs.

  • Provide research and administrative support, including drafting research documentation, conducting literature reviews, and preparing reports and presentations.

  • About You

  • Completion of a degree in public health or health sciences, or a diploma with relevant work experience; equivalent experience or training also considered.

  • Practical research skills, experience in relevant research methodologies, and experience conducting data analysis and systematic reviews.

  • Strong communication skills, ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and well-organised and self-motivated. Previous similar experience is a plus.

  • The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre- employment checks, including: right to work in Australia.
