This is a full-time fixed-term position through to end of December 2025 with salary in the range $89,861.38 - $96,402.32 (HEW 6), plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%.

Based at our St Lucia campus
As a Student Advisor, provide essential support to students, helping them navigate academic and personal challenges. You will offer guidance on a range of topics, including financial assistance, accommodation, and disability support. By providing tailored advice and support, empower students to achieve their academic and personal goals.
Key responsibilities will include:
Student Support and Advise
Provide support to international students, including orientation, transition advice, and disability support.
Offer individual consultations and group programs to address student needs.
Program Development and Evaluation
Contribute to the development and evaluation of student support programs and initiatives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
Administrative Support
A degree in a relevant area (e.g. Social Work, Sociology, Behavioural Science, or Psychology) and at least one-year subsequent work experience, or extensive equivalent higher education student administration experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Demonstrated ability to build rapport and provide empathetic support to diverse student populations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks.
