The Student Advocate, reports to the Manager, Student Advocacy and plays a vital role in supporting students across all campuses by providing timely, independent, accurate and expert advice. Demonstrating high levels of integrity, discretion, and commitment to acting in the best interest of the students, the Student Advocate ensures impartial advocacy while navigating the complexities and sensitivities of often conflicting priorities between students and University stakeholders. The role involves independently managing and resolving complex student cases, identifying achievable outcomes and promoting self-advocacy ensuring students receive the support and access to services they need to succeed.
