    About the department

    The Student and Programmes Hub teams are central to supporting students throughout their programme of study. They provide core administrative services to enable students to access their learning, manage their time and complete their studies successfully, and provide a front-line enquiry service for students. Working closely with academic and professional services staff across the College, the Students and Programmes Hub teams support a range of central administrative activities, deliver programme administration and discipline- specific support.

    The Student and Programmes Hub teams are key units within the Academic Registry, alongside Student Success and Registry Operations and Systems. There are three Hub teams – currently supporting six departments each – and they were created following the restructure of Professional Services in July 2022.

    About the role and Candidate

    The Student and Programmes Hub Assistant is a student-facing role working within a team to provide front-line support as a first point of contact to students and academic staff. In addition to managing enquiries from both students and staff across the College, the duties also include providing programme administration, supporting a number of processes throughout the academic lifecycle. It is a busy role requiring strong communication skills, with the ability to respond accurately to enquiries in a professional and personable manner to all stakeholders.
