The Pension Research Centre (PeRCent) is looking to hire 1 – 2 student assistants, who are interested in supporting our research on pension related issues.
What is PeRCent? PeRCent is established to make high-quality contributions in the pension research area, mainly through publications in leading scientific journals and books in economics and finance. Specifics about the positions To support our research, we are looking for 1 – 2 student assistants to work an average of 15 hours per week, but there is a large degree of flexibility, including during exam periods and the position is not time restricted.
In this position, students undertake various tasks, including data management for research projects, working on new research proposals, literature reviews, and preparing and taking actively part in international seminars and conferences hosted by PeRCent.
Expected start is week # 43 (Monday, October 21), 2024.
Ideal Profile We are looking for a student of economics or a related field. A solid understanding of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is required. Some knowledge of software such as STATA and R is also expected. Fine grades in your current studies, ability to work independently as well as a positive attitude to learn will also be important.

Salary and employment conditions Employment will be according to the HK- organizational agreement and the Joint Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees' Organizations (OAO-S Joint Agreement).
The salary currently ranges between DKK 140.57 and DKK 147.46 and depends on previous employment within the office field and educational level. Pension contributions are made. The pension contribution amounts to 15% of the pensionable salary components.
It is a condition for employment that you are an active student enrolled at a Danish institution in higher education or in a professional bachelor programme and that at the start date at the latest, you have a physical address in Denmark, a Danish social security number and a Danish bank account.
