Student Recruitment is responsible for delivery of the university's student recruitment targets in both the home and international markets through implementation of its strategy to deliver progressive growth in core and nominated markets.
Joining the busy International Recruitment team, you will be primarily focused on supporting the management of the relationships with key stakeholders such as education agents and scholarship bodies; as well as working with team leadership on activity to support international student recruitment generally.
Educated to degree level in Marketing or a related subject, you will have extensive experience working in a sales oriented service driven culture. Your experience will include events delivery, working in a sales environment, as well as experience of international markets/marketing. We may also consider applications from new graduates with some sales or marketing experience.
Your role will also include some work during unsociable hours (evenings and weekends) and covering events overseas.

RESPONSIBLE FOR: Student Recruitment in designated markets
PURPOSE OF POST: Undertake student recruitment activity designed to increase the number of applicants and students who enrol at Robert Gordon University. Representing RGU in market with the objective of raising profile and building relationships with prospective students, recruitment agents, sponsorship bodies and other key stakeholders.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
To achieve the student recruitment targets for designated markets by contributing to the development of market plans and effectively managing budgets to maximise return on investment from each designated market.
Support agents and teams overseas with marketing materials, social media campaigns and event planning.
Liaise and network with colleagues in other institutions
At times, verify the accuracy of commission invoices before approving for payment on behalf of the International Student Recruitment team
Support the International Student Recruitment team by preparing reports on all partner/sponsor performance
Represent the department with stakeholders both internally and externally
Advise, educate and motivate appointed partners to actively and enthusiastically recruit for the University
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications and Professional Memberships
First Degree preferably in Marketing or a related subject
Experience
Experience of events delivery
Experience of international markets/marketing
Experience of working in sales focused environments.
Extensive experience of working with internal and external customers to deliver efficient and effective services
