The Students' Union at Birkbeck, University of London, is seeking a Student Voice Assistant to join, and be involved in, an exciting transformative period to build a better Union.
As Student Voice Assistant, you will be responsible for engaging our Academic Representatives in our Student Voice processes, to ensure student views are at the heart of the work the Union does throughout the year. You will expand organisational and facilitation skills to ensure a smooth running of the Union processes.
In this role you will also support our students in building and maintaining academic communities through organising different social events and activities for our student reps.
In order to be successful as Student Voice Assistant, you will have a passion for enhancing the student experience and making positive changes at Birkbeck University.
You will be able to demonstrate good organisational and communication skills and you will have the ability to work both independently, and as a part of a team, to deliver high-quality services to students. You will also need to be a recent graduate of Birkbeck or a current student.

Salary and benefits:
£16,541 rising to £18,175 per annum (actual), pro-rated. (£27,568 to £30,292 per annum, FTE), Grade 3 of the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance that applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.
