A founding member of the Russell Group, the University of Southampton is among the top 100 global universities and in the UK's top 15. Our academics and diverse global student community are helping to change the world for the better.

Our new Global Mobility team is growing and we're looking for inspiring people to join us. In support of our university mission to create outstanding university experiences, we are looking to develop our summer school. Our ambition is to offer innovative short-term courses that are attractive to students from around the world and which showcase the best that the University of Southampton has to offer, making a significant contribution to the University's internationalisation agenda.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive, student-focused individual with relevant commercial expertise to create, market and manage our international summer school.

As Summer School Manager, you'll be responsible for liaising with faculties and other professional services to create and implement an innovative and attractive high quality summer school for inbound students in support of the International Strategic Plan, ensuring the effective use of internal and external resources and the achievement of ambitious returns on investment from year three of operation.

About you:

You'll bring experience of developing summer schools in a higher education context. You will be able to balance a range of considerations such as the student experience, sourcing/creating the right courses, financial and recruitment objectives, marketing, and quality assurance, to ensure that we create a programme that's the right fit for the market. You will be an excellent communicator able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure success, as well as being highly organised with close attention to detail and extensive project management experience.
