We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our People and Talent team. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead, this pivotal role supports end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers. This exciting and rewarding role will provide exceptional service while contributing to initiatives that enhance our recruitment strategies and employer brand.
Key responsibilities will be to:
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes across all University positions.
- Ensure job advertisements and position descriptions are accurate and aligned with our policies and branding guidelines.
- Provide advice and support to candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Assist hiring managers with shortlisting, reference checks, and employment documentation.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records using our HRIS.
- Collaborate with the wider People and Talent team to continuously improve recruitment practices and promote diversity and inclusion.
- Support the implementation of talent acquisition strategies and employer branding initiatives.
- Utilise social media, job boards, and other digital platforms to enhance recruitment reach.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
About the person
To succeed in this role, you will bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering excellent service. You will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and have a natural ability to build positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment administration, either within a recruitment agency or internal talent acquisition, ideally within the higher education sector.
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices, employment laws, and diversity and inclusion strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in HRIS and recruitment systems.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Experience in a large, complex organisation would be advantageous.

Salary details
The salary for the position commences at $80,787.14 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
