The Adelaide Business School invites applications for a Teaching Fellowship position in Finance and Banking. The Adelaide Business School has a stimulating multidisciplinary learning environment that fosters the pursuit of leadership and excellence in both research and education. It is an Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accredited business school offering a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the core discipline areas of accounting, finance, international business, management and marketing, as well as a suite of MBA programs. The Business School also offers high-quality research programs at the honours, master, and PhD levels.

The position is open to candidates wishing to pursue a teaching-focused role where there is an expectation that the candidate can demonstrate the ability to engage students in both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can demonstrate a willingness to work with colleagues on initiatives and contribute to the School, Faculty and University. The candidate will be assigned a workload of up to 90% teaching and teaching-related duties.

To be successful you will need:

  • Possess a PhD in Finance or related field.
  • An ability to teach in relevant undergraduate and postgraduate courses and experience in the preparation and delivery of lectures, demonstrations, workshops, and assessment activities.
  • Commitment to the design and delivery of high-quality and engaging courses and evidence of innovation in course design and management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to undertake academic administrative functions, including strategic or other similar planning processes.
