The Biological Services Unit (BSU) at University College Cork is a leading research facility committed to advancing scientific discovery through the ethical and responsible use of animals in research. We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced professional to the role of Technical Assistant within the facilities.
Reporting to the Manager and the Deputy Manager, the Technical Assistant will play a crucial role in animal welfare and husbandry, legislative compliance, research support and service provision.
Please note that Garda vetting and/or an international police clearance check may form part of the selection process.

Appointment may be made on the Technical Assistant Salary Scale (pro rata): €29,788 - €42,159(Scale B) / €31,465 - €40,534 (Scale A)
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
