Technical Officer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 528833) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a recognized Higher Diploma, preferably with a Bachelor's degree, in Health and Life Science, Biomedical Science, Biological Science or a related discipline. Registered as medical laboratory technologist (MLT) would be an advantage.

The appointee will conduct laboratory tests in a diagnostic laboratory at the University's teaching hospitals, and be involved in accreditation preparation work. He/She may also conduct research, and prepare equipment and materials for laboratory teaching activities. On-the-job training will be provided. Working on weekends/public holidays will be required.
