Technical Operations, Resources and Services (TORS) at Sheffield Hallam University provides high quality technical support for teaching and research within the University. The Sport Health, Hospitality and Nutrition (SHHN) technical team supports activities across a range of disciplines.
You will assist with the development and facilitation of simulated healthcare learning. Ideally you will have a working knowledge of healthcare practices, and/or patient simulators, clinical skills task trainers and other equipment associated with clinical simulation or that associated with real clinical environments.
You will have experience of providing excellent customer service and be able to demonstrate a professional, approach. The role requires you to work collaboratively with finance, estates and timetabling teams, so excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
You will be responsible for providing technical support for the under-graduate and post-graduate teaching program, working closely with other technical staff to achieve this.
You will be highly motivated and meticulous in your work, with a professional work ethic, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively across team boundaries sharing knowledge and skills to ensure customer focussed results.
